OSCE preparation
The OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) is a practical, hands-on assessment used in some countries like the UK, but currently, New Zealand does not use OSCE as a part of their standard nursing registration process.
However, if you're preparing for the Competency Assessment Programme (CAP) in New Zealand — which is required by the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) for most internationally qualified nurses — some OSCE-style preparation can be helpful because the CAP includes clinical skills, decision-making, and communication, similar to OSCE exams.
